Yes, we manage both inbound and outbound shipments through our partnerships with international shipping providers such as FedEx, as well as local courier services for domestic deliveries.
Deliveries to major cities via airfreight typically take 5-7 days. For remote areas, deliveries can take up to 14 days.

Shipment terms are Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). For most countries, packages below USD100 are not subject to custom duties and taxes anymore. The consignee may be charged for Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms which are available upon request. (subject to additional charges)

Prohibited items are illegal to ship or not allowed by our partner carriers.

Restricted items can be shipped, but only with the necessary permits and clearances.

– Explosives & weapons, including imitation

– Fresh/frozen produce

– Illegal goods (counterfeit, narcotics)

– Loose (semi)precious stones
– Meat products (corned beef, chicharon, liver spread, etc.)

– Prescription and OTC drugs

Restricted:
– Items with alcohol or oil content
– Designer/luxury brand goods
– Breakables (glass, etc.)
– Electronics
– Food in glass jars or containers
– Items with internal batteries
– Food supplements

Yes, but for skincare and cosmetic products, we require an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), which you can obtain from the manufacturer.

COMPLIANCE & TAXES

Our rates are Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). This means your consignee will be responsible for paying custom duties and taxes. In many countries, packages valued under $100 are typically exempt from custom duties and taxes.

No, our estimated rates do not include local taxes and custom duties upon entry into the destination country.

Custom duties and taxes are determined by the customs office of the destination country.

Yes, all items will be inspected for verification before shipping and must comply with the destination country’s cargo regulations. Mailbox Express reserves the right to deny service for non-compliant shipments.

Our rates do not include the insurance fee, remote area surcharge, oversized cargo fee, special handling fee, custom duties, taxes, or any other incidental fees.

The shipping cost is determined based on the final weight. You can get the Chargeable Weight by dividing the volumetric weight of your package (length x width x height in centimeters) by 5000. Compare the gross weight in kilograms. The heavier the weight will be charged rounded to the next 0.5 kg for packages under 30 kg and the next 1 kg for packages over 30 kg.

PAYMENTS / REFUNDS
